Rejuran is a polynucleotide (PDRN) injection derived from salmon DNA that works by activating your skin's own repair mechanisms. It's considered a foundational treatment in Korean dermatology, often described as "skin rehabilitation" rather than cosmetic correction.
PDRN-based injectables have not received FDA approval for use in the United States, meaning no US med spa or dermatologist can legally administer them. In Korea, Rejuran has been widely used since 2014 with an extensive clinical track record. Many Korean women have it done annually as preventative maintenance — the equivalent of getting a dental clean.
Most patients see meaningful improvement in skin quality, refined texture, and reduced fine lines after 2–3 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Results are gradual and cumulative rather than immediate.
Juvelook is a Korean-developed injectable that combines hyaluronic acid with poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLA) microspheres. The HA provides immediate hydration while the PDLA microspheres dissolve slowly over months, continuously stimulating new collagen. Most standard fillers do one or the other — Juvelook does both simultaneously, making it particularly effective for overall skin quality rather than targeted volume correction.
PDLA microsphere formulations in injectable form have not been approved by the FDA. Juvelook is a Korean-developed product widely used across Asia, but it hasn't entered the North American market and there's no clear timeline for when it will.
Plumper, more hydrated skin immediately, followed by progressive collagen stimulation over 3–6 months. Often described as restructuring the skin's foundation rather than topping it up.
Exosomes are nano-sized particles derived from stem cells that carry growth factors and signaling molecules. Applied topically immediately after microneedling, RF, or laser treatments, they dramatically accelerate healing, reduce redness, and amplify results. The combination with RF microneedling or fractional laser is particularly potent — it's not so much a standalone treatment as a powerful amplifier for other procedures.
In 2019, the FDA issued warnings against several exosome-based products, and reputable clinical-grade exosome treatments have remained largely inaccessible in the US since. Korean clinics use rigorously tested formulations that meet Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety standards — the regulatory environment is simply different.

Oligio is a Korean monopolar radiofrequency device designed for skin tightening and lifting. It delivers RF energy to multiple skin layers simultaneously, producing firming and lifting results comparable to HIFU — but with notably less discomfort and downtime. It's particularly effective around the jawline, jowls, and cheeks where mild laxity is developing.
Oligio is a Korean-developed device that has not received FDA clearance for use in the United States. US providers have access to similar devices (Thermage, Profound RF), but Oligio specifically is not among them.
Skin tightening and improved contour that builds progressively over 3–6 months as new collagen forms. Typically one session is sufficient to see clear results, though some patients return for a follow-up at 6 months.
